ARTICLE 1V continued.
Section 6 : Parliamentary members can submit their names for cabinet/
shadow cabinet positions, which must be endorsed by a card vote of the delegates to the Annual Conference. Those with the highest votes will go forward. The NEC will then nominate and vote on said nominee(s) and state the post(s) to be held, which will be functional until the next Annual Conference.
ARTICLE V1 Appointment of
Delegates to the Party's Annual Conference.
Section 1 : Every delegate must be a member of his/her constituency( no branches e.g., women, male, color sections etc), who accepts and conforms to the constitution, program,principles and policies of the party.
Section 2 : Delegates must be bona fide members, who have been in the party for no less than 12 months and have attended no less than 6 of the 12 meetings, which are held monthly by the constituency over a 12 month period.
ARTICLE V111 THE
National Executive Committee
Section 1: The NEC will consist
of 25 members, who are elected at
the party's annual conference.
